TAO MARSHALL - THE SELF AMPLIFIED GUITAR
A special project completed in 2020 which came about as a wild idea that I just had to put into motion.
Featuring a Marshall MS-2 micro amp inside the guitar itself, it can be played anywhere under it's own steam or conventionally through the standard output jack. I even kept the original power in and speaker out sockets to keep all options open.
I actually wrote to Marshall to seek their permission to use the scroll logo on the truss rod cover, which they amazingly agreed to provided I didn't try to sell the guitar or insinuate any form of official partnership. This is just a showpiece to prove what is possible with a little imagination. I may develop the idea further in the future...
